We went under contract for 1,050,000 with an Ally preapproval on Friday but I am wondering if we could get a better rate somewhere else. Looking at the rate table, Ally is offering 4.75% with -508 credit on a 730 credit score with 30% down. We have enough cash to go to 40% down or even 50% if needed because I like to keep a year of emergency funds. With that said, what are some other lenders we could shop around with or some other jumbo loan “hacks” to try? TIA!
