This is sort of a problem after closing. We just purchased a new home and the listing photos from the sale are still online. I’ve removed them manually from the big ones (redfin, zillow, etc.) but there are tons of others that pulled them from the MLS. I’ve emailed countless to get them to remove the photos to no avail. I’ve spoken with the listing agent and they said they removed the listing photos from the MLS which is all they can do. I’m concerned about privacy and people being able to “walk through” my home via pictures.
Has anyone had success with this. Is there a way to do this? I’m considering “listing” my home for sale via a mls listing service (like mls4owners). Pay $75 and have it list with photos zoomed in of the front door, or door knobs, the driveway, etc. with a list price 2x what I paid to avoid peaking interests. Might even post a photo of a sign saying it’s not really for sale. Just let it sit there for a week or two until all those websites update with the new junk photo’s and then remove the listing.
I’m at my wits end trying to protect my privacy!!!
