Given how strong of a seller’s market it has been and seems to be for the foreseeable future, is there still any benefit to having an agent on the buyer side?
The last one we had didn’t seem to be very useful. We found all the listing we wanted to see on our own, did our own research on comps, current contingency trends, etc. The realtor only setup the open house appointment times and provided the offer paperwork for us to sign. Seems like we could do all of this ourselves and work directly with the selling agent.
Was this just a bad realtor experience or is that all a buyer’s agent is really good far these days?
