Is it legal to switch real estate agents as a buyer?

I am a completely newbee looking to purchase my first house. I have been dealing with an agent for a couple of weeks and she has shown me several houses already. However very recently I saw some negative reviews of her which concerns me, and it turns out that a friend of my friend bought from her but wishes he hadn’t.

It’s a big purchase and I don’t wanna stress myself out so I’ve decided to find a new agent. I didn’t sign any agreements with her yet so I guess it may be unethical but at least legitimate.

The problem is, I’m actually interested in one of the houses she showed me. Would there be any consequences if I end up purchasing it from another agent?
