I hope I put the right flair on this.
I live in a large apartment complex. So that you can picture it there’s 4 buildings and each have 6 floors and probably 35-45 units per floor.
The people here don’t seem to realize they live with other people and that their pets need to go to the bathroom. The elevators have smelled like dog pee for weeks, there’s been vomit on the front steps for days and on several occasions there’s been feces (presumably animal) inside of my building.
The management office, likely because of the volume of people, doesn’t seem to take complaints very seriously. There’s no cameras in any of the buildings and their solutions to complaints are sending out mass emails kindly asking people to stop being inconsiderate and pick up after their pets.
Is there anything I can do to get them to do something? Can I report them somehow? I honestly would just like the elevators mopped. If they could change the carpets in the lobby areas and hallways that would be phenomenal. I’ll be filing another complaint with them today but it’s unlikely anything is going to change. I’ll probably be moving out at the end of my lease term.
