I just closed on a home and I didn’t even have to waive inspection!

But I might as well have because my inspector missed a ton of shit.

One bedroom has cracks up the walls. It looks fairly minor. Inspector looked at the foundation and said it’s from the house “settling”. Fake news, it’s from all the dry wall tape failing. Somehow he didn’t notice these “settling cracks” were ONLY in one room in the entire house?? There’s exposed tape in 4 areas.

He missed the windowsill coming completely apart in the living room.

He missed the fact that THE BEDROOM DOOR DOESNT EVEN CLOSE.

Didn’t notice that all the blinds in the mount are held up with framing nails.

Light switch plates are taped to walls.

Missed a giant water stain in the ceiling.

Like, wtf?!

I’m shocked at how much stuff he missed. I told my agent from here on out she needs to use a different dude for inspections. This isn’t okay.

What’s the worst thing your home inspector missed? I can’t wait to find out much more shit he didn’t find. Ugh.
