We saw a house with some water damage to ceiling. The bathroom is almost right above so the assumption is easy, but we wanted to know if the listing agent had any more info on it. Our realtor just kept saying, it’s obviously the bathroom. So after days of going back and forth with our realtor I finally called the listing agent myself. It was helpful as they were able to tell me more about it, including that the leak itself has been fixed, it’s just the damaged Sheetrock that has to be replaced. The listing agent also mentioned that they had received an offer this morning so if we were interested submit our offer ASAP. So I talk to my husband and we txt our agent about 2pm that we want to make an offer. He emails me a copy of said offer at 530. I read it over but have some questions and need some clarification so I txt him some questions at 618. It’s now 1030pm and we haven’t heard anything since. I know nothing, but I think that offers are usually up for 24hrs. Meaning that the other offer the seller received this morning will have to be answer by tomorrow morning. I’m not sure how we are suppose to get our offer in, in a reasonable amount of time to be considered? It this normal?
