Looking at a new construction but the seller’s agent is quite arrogant and rude. We asked if we could see the contract ahead of time but they stated no blank contracts, which leads us to question how long do buyers usually have to decide to sign the contract to move forward on the house before they cancel/pass it onto next buyer? Is it usually 24 hours, or sometimes less, or sometimes more (maybe during a weekend?)
We figure it may take some time for us to get a real estate attorney, if needed to look over the documents. However, if the builder’s deadline is real quick, then it may not be enough time to look over at them.
