I was fortunate enough to get a house before things got crazy in early 2021. Wanted to sit with the house before we did anything and I think we have gone up in value 50-80k (of course wouldnt know until we get an appraisal and ifs solely due to the market) We want to redo the kitchen and refinish basement. How the heck do people afford it? They want 30k for the kitchen and I havent gotten quotes in the basement yet. Im just doing little things here and there. We’re in MD and we paid $430k to give reference. Thanks.
