House appraised much lower than offer price but still managed to be within my waived appraisal range. Is getting a second appraisal an option?

Seller accepted my offer of $950k waiving appraisal up to $80k. Of course with my luck the house appraised for $874k, just barely over the lowest end of the waived gap which means I’m on the hook for the difference. I was definitely prepared to pay some amount out of pocket as I didn’t believe it would appraise at the offer but I didn’t expect to appraise so low. What makes it frustrating is that only a few thousand less would have given me grounds to negotiate or walk away.

If I were to get a second appraisal, and hypothetically speaking it comes out $869k, would that mean at that point I am out of the waived appraisal range or would the highest appraisal of the two be the one that matters?

Also are there any other options I may not be thinking of?

TIA
