He didn’t even care enough to go check it himself until I brought it up (my agent recommended him; sadly I trusted them despite clear advice online to never use buyers agents recommended inspectors). I’m concerned he might have known it’s not working and he didn’t want to bother .. or it’s a genuine excuse that he didn’t want to take the risk of breaking it (and having to pay for it)
