Help me accept the fact that I have to pay absurd property taxes. Is there some sort of light at the end of the tunnel?

I live in NJ so I know property taxes were going to run me a pretty penny. I’m a FTHB and closing in a few days. Bought at 420k (appraised 440k) and paying $8800+ on property taxes, whereas in Florida, I’d be paying maybe around $3k.

There’s gotta be some light at the end of the tunnel right? Somewhere where the grass is a little greener? Glass a bit more than full? I’m single so I assume I’ll be getting a tax break of some sort where I finally no longer owe taxes…right? But is there anything else that this high property tax can anyway help me?
