Here’s an introduction: My name is Alex, I’m 18 living in Dallas, Texas and I’m at a pivotal point in my life where I’m not sure what I want to do.
As of now I’m enrolled as a freshman in college studying business, and to be quite frank I hate it. The thought of studying basics for 2 years just to get to core classes kills me and the thought that after this i’m going to be stuck in a 9-5 horrifies me. I’m not that “F*ck a 9-5 be your own boss #entrepreneurship #getyourbag ” kind of guy but i truly feel as if this path isn’t right for me. I don’t want to be stuck in a corporate office for the next 50 years of my life.
So what’s my point in writing this?
I love real estate, and I’m extremely motivated to get into commercial and multi family investments. I have around $50,000 to get started, but the issue is I don’t know WHERE to start.
I’ve been focusing my time on learning wholesaling, remote and local as I believe that being able to make connections all across the US is imperative, but I want to use that capital to get my first commercial property locally. To veteran investors, or anyone in general what advice would you give me? What would you tell your 18 year old self? Your help is extremely appreciated and to anyone who took the time to read this whole thing thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish success upon everyone on this journey with me. Thank you!
