So as the title said I bought a house in Texas after speaking to my HR rep about moving and my salary they told me in Italy it wouldn’t be adjusted but to confirm I reached out again and they told me they always do reviews and adjust the cost of living since it won’t be “felt”. However I bought a house that has a mortgage of roughly $2,180 a month and my salary will go from receiving $2,400 a check to $1,470 and I will not be able to afford student loans, house bills and other expenses that I have. I want to back out and stay where I am at to retain my salary but I don’t want to violate my occupancy clause. My dad suggest I tell them I’m not moving then go ahead and move anyways since I work remotely but I don’t want to get in any trouble.
