I want to know everyone’s thoughts on this. As hedge funds and investment companies continue to buy up local inventory could this end up a disaster?
Let’s say we end up in a really bad recession and people want to take out their investments from these firms but their capital is tied up in a house. There’s no way for them to get it out besides selling the home correct? So people are stuck and can’t pull out their money.
I did just see that the Fed put 30+ banks through a doomsday scenario just in case. But, I was just thinking about this and wondered if this could be an issue if something were to happen.
