Get my license now or wait? College Student

I am a rising Sophomore in college studying finance with a concentration in real estate and double major in accounting. I am planning to go into investment banking or commercial real estate after I graduate or go on to a Masters program. I have been thinking about getting my real estate license for a few years. I have been waiting for my ADHD impulse spending to buy my licensing course to go away, but it hasn’t. I keep going back to buy the course but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. For some background, my mom has done real estate on the side for the past ten years and I have learned a whole lot watching her, especially on using MLS, pulling comps, etc. Granted, I still have a lot to learn but I would not be starting from nothing. I know without a doubt that at some point I will get my real estate license, it just a matter of when. I already have a broker I would go to, they charge $100/transaction and $100/month, that’s it. However, I have talked with the broker and they would allow me to do $400/transaction and $0/month. I wouldn’t do a whole whole ton of transactions before the end of college but I would do some, probably 2-3/year. I also have a few potential clients from my other jobs that I have talked to about selling their house. Am I insane to want my license now or should I wait?
