Florida Home Renter Questions

The home I rent was recently sold. For some background info I live in North Miami FL and I currently rent a 2 bed 1 bath for 1,100. The property is old and has a a lot of cosmetic issues the buyers said they will be addressing. They seem nice they are from Israel so not the best English and claim that they want to keep us as tenants. My question is, how much should I expect my rent to raise and what to expect with real estate investors buying your residence? The lady in the front house is disabled and elderly and I know she can’t afford a rent raise (she has extremely low rent, even lower than mine and lives in the 2 bedroom main house). I can understand a reasonable raise, but I’m horrified hearing my friends get $500-$800 increases. We didn’t have a lease before but signed a paper they gave us basically as a temporary lease until the deal is closed. Any input greatly appreciated as I’m so stressed over this.
