As I am finishing my first flip with my family and it is going insanely well. It really inspired me to get into the construction and real estate thing and not move into corporate. For those of you who have been successful at this hard industry. What are the biggest tips you have for someone new that is coming into the industry? What are your biggest mistakes and what did you do to avoid them in the future? For context my family does the contracting themselves and we just outsource things we don’t do so we save a lot on labor.
Edit: no family help will be available to me on my first deals. They just teach me the labor and the rest is on my own.
