Hey everyone! I don’t really have a question I just wanted to post here to sort of vent my anxiety as it’s eating up at me. I am a first time homeowner selling my house to move across the country to be closer to family. Currently in the south Florida area living in an oversized townhouse.
My property came off of coming soon this morning and has its first showing this afternoon. I have been racing around to clean and declutter and I am just nervous about what to expect. I am currently living and working from home and the idea of people walking through my house potentially only accompanied by their own realtor has my anxiety wicked high. I also am scared about what they’ll think and if we’ll get any actually good offers.
I’d like to be able to move out as soon as possible so I can be with family, but I’m nervous the home will sit on the market for awhile. I’ve read through lots of threads about first time home selling but most seem to be from middle of pandemic when the markets were crazy hot. Anyone who’s sold recently have any advice or experience to share? Thanks so much
