Buying a house on a well. I understand most will check for bacteria/ quality of water – but I’m wondering if I should have the well itself inspected to the tune of an extra $300-400.
My realtor said don’t bother, but won’t this be pricey to fix if something is wrong with water flow, etc? Or is the extra $500 just throwing money away? Would rather catch a costly problem now during due diligence rather than after close…
