I’m looking to buy a starter home and came across a property(new construction) that I am interested in putting in an offer for but going through the docs I realized a few things, the property has a Sewer & construction easement. Is that something to be aware of? and How would that affect the resale value? It also states that part of the lot is in a flood zone but the house is not – is that concerning? They have an elevation certificate as well. I can send docs to anyone who wants to take a look. When I went to look that the property to the east of its wooded and steep hill downward which I assume would be the flood zone.
