I have a SFH in a good school district. The main buyer demographic are families with kids.
I don’t have kids and don’t plan to have any (though I might get a dog in the future). Right now my backyard is all grass and I hate that I can’t use it. My dream backyard is one with lounge chairs, a table for eating on, etc.
I’m thinking of replacing the 80% of grass with concrete instead.
How will this hurt resale value? Do people with kids generally expect grass in the backyard?
