I posted about recourse for foundation issues in the home I just purchased a couple days ago.
I got a call back from a local contractor today who had been to my place prior to it being flipped, and already had a workup ready for it for work that was obviously wasn’t done, then gave me the number to an attorney that works in the same building. He was pretty clear that there was no way anyone “didn’t know” about the structural issues. I imagine as this progresses and other contractors are subpoenaed/discovered, the full story will come out.
I’m pretty sure I have a strong case here for recourse, but I have no idea what to expect. Obviously the attorney will fill me in, but I’d appreciate anyone who’s knowledgeable on the matter or has dealt with it giving me an idea of how this process works and what to expect.
