Counter buyer with sooner closing date?

Hi there, I’m selling a house that needs some work in a part of the country where the market is softer than most other places. I’m under contract with a cash buyer who is already below asking.

My agent hinted that the buyer might want more negotiations on the price post inspection. I want to stand pretty firm on the concessions (already priced-in in their offer) but I also want the house gone due to my personal life situation. One of my problems with the current offer is that they are closing in ~ 3 weeks despite being a cash offer.

Is it typical to counter a credit request with a sooner closing date? I want them to pretty much close immediately if they want more cost reductions. What do y’all think? Thank you!
