Hello intelligent people! I am a Canadian working with my partner to buy our first home. There is a time crunch because we are buying from his aunt. Anyways we started the process with the mortgage broker in late May. We still do not have pre approval. Is this normal for this to take so long? It’s been about three weeks since she’s had all the documents. We have not heard from her since last week.
What is common practice here? Should I reach out to another mortgage broker? Thanks for you advice in advanced!
