We have gone through almost every scenario, from new build not yet started to new build that’s been completed. Older home. Historical home. You name it. We have even gone to several different markets including the one we left behind initially. Nothing has “worked”. It’s been over a yr of looking and a yr of renting a house. I am feeling desperate but of course we don’t want to make a rash decision.
We are eyeing a house which is not a fixer but also it’s no one’s dream home. It’s well within budget so that’s a major plus. It actually may be overpriced, but that’s a whole different issue that may or may not come back to bite us.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We do love that. But other than that the major pluses are that there’s a yard, walls, and roof. Lol!
Would you make an offer based on just having a house at this point or would you continue to wait?
Can you learn to love a house you don’t like?
