I own a house in WA state that I’m currently renting out room by room. It brings in about 5+k in rent after paying utilities/internet/trash/cleaning, and mortgage (+property tax) is 3k. I’m thinking of selling the house with tenants in place (I thought the next guy who buys it might appreciate being able to collect rent immediately). It needs a little bit of work (maybe around 20k to fix the place up to the level normally seen on redfin), but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for me to do that repair. Anw my question is, what’s the best way to sell a house nowadays? I’ve checked out redfin/Zillow/clever/upnest/transactly/homelight but they all seem about the same, and all the agents also seem about the same. How do I go about picking an agent, or choosing a platform to list on if I were to sell the house myself?
