I applied for a rental apartment. I paid background check fee and security deposit. I was supposed to get apartment on 09/01
They called me and said apartment is not available anymore. They said they will refund the security deposit but DECLINED TO REFUND BACKGROUND CHECK FEE.
Shouldn’t they refund background check fee as well?
