Hello, sorry if this isn’t appropriate for this sub, but I wanted a landlord’s opinion and didn’t know where else to ask.
Me and my partner have been renting this house for 2 years. The lease is up at the end of the month and we were told we would get a renewal offer earlier this week. However, the rental company just informed us the owner has decided to sell the house and not renew.
We were planning on moving in a year anyway due to me applying for medical school and my partner other schooling. I want to offer an extra $200 a month or something to not sell this house, however I don’t know if that’s something that would even work or is appropriate.
So landlords, is there anything that a tenant could do that would convince you to change your mind about selling a property?
