Am I walking away too soon from deal? Or am I dodging a bullet?

I’m making another thread concerning this house. Sorry if you’re annoyed of me at this point but I’ve been stressing out a lot about this. I don’t know if I’m acting impulsive or doing the right thing. So I’d like others opinions. I just texted my realtor that I want out of the contract I’m in on a house. He was going to try to negotiate with the seller the repairs (house needs a full electrical rewire). This had to be done before closing because the home can’t get insurance. So the seller would have to agree to do the rewire or pay the company to do the rewire then I move in, etc. which would also drag out my closing date by who knows how long.

I texted my realtor saying I don’t want to pursue the house anymore and to not waste his time trying to negotiate the deal with the seller. My thoughts are… if the house needs a full rewire then how’s the plumbing like, etc etc. It just makes me question the entire house now… and I would want my own preferred electrician to do the electrical rewire of the house. Which I don’t know if they’d even agree to that. But in general, this whole deal I’m just starting to get cold feet on. Should I have at least let my realtor try to do the negotiations? Did I jump the gun..?
