Basically,
I’m selling my studio apartment in NYC. I don’t currently have a source of income (trying to make my career a hobby and my hobby a career) other than what amounts to a retainer of 1K a month, direct cash. There is a good chance I will get something picking up soon, but as of now, nothing.
Excluding a 401K, I have around 30K in the bank. I expect to have another ~160K cash assuming I am able to sell at the price I was aiming for (realtor I’m working with seems to think I can get a lot more)
I have a stable work history, and my credit score is around 825. I know places want paystubs and an income of something like 40x the rent, am I going to be boned trying to find an apartment and have to restort to craigslist?
