I recently won an offer for a property listed at 400k. I went 50k over list with a 20k appraisal gap contingency.
The house appraised at 430k, with my appraisal gap contingency allowing full contract price. I’m starting to have some buyers remorse on the purchase. The house is located in the Atlanta market.
Any opinions? Should I feel lucky or stupid. I will be selling my current home so I am thinking maybe I can recoup some of the dead money in the appraisal gap.
