My agent came in today as I’m trying to sell my house. She had a price set out before she got there based on size area and all the stuff you can basically find on Zillow which made sense. When she got there, I let her know I’ve added solar panels, expanded the patio, and have a battery for the solar and a hybrid water heater that is 80 gallons as opposed to the standard 50. After discussing all this she basically said that doesn’t matter and will only move the needle slightly and we’ll probably still list it for the same based on houses in the area (that don’t have anything like that). Do I need a new agent or to temper my expectations? Everywhere I’ve looked it says it increases the value at least slightly and that’s just panels.
