The value of your home is ONLY as good as it looks and smells the X amount of days it’s on the market. 6% is very negligible compared to you having a FSBO sit on the market 3x longer and get 10% less than you could for it. Like, you can sell your house on marketplace, or you can have an agent guide you, professionally photograph it, and list it within an existing framework literally built for selling it for the highest price. Add to that any extra services like cleaning, staging, marketing, and moving, not to mention the advice that comes with the experience of doing hundreds of these.

My agent saved me thousands more than she costed and months of dealing with contractors.

Sorry for the rant but that person complaining about the commissions on their 1.65 MILLION dollar house got me tilted. Damn sorry you’re so rich. Sell it yourself and get 1.2 mil
